Reset a password
Generates or sets a temporary password, shown only once.
Required permission :Password
Generates a random password, or lets you set one yourself, with the option to force a change at next sign-in.

Good to know
- The password (generated or entered) is shown only once: note it down before closing the window.
- The tenant’s own complexity policy applies on top of the minimum length.
- If the target account holds an administrator role on the tenant, the operation may be refused or placed in an approval request depending on the “Administrator account protection” setting — see the dedicated section above.
